Who is Trustshift for?
People managing their own early, night or rotating shifts, including more than one job. Your employer does not need to set up a system first.
Do I need an account?
V1 needs no registration or sign-in. Plan, use checklists and keep local records directly. Optional online registration also needs no account. Personal sync and sign-in belong to V2.
What about multiple jobs or overnight shifts?
Manage jobs separately or view them together, with multiple shifts on one day. Overnight shifts stay as one shift. Changing a plan never overwrites original check-ins.
Can I use it offline?
Planning, checklists and local records work offline. If server registration is enabled, every clock-in, break and clock-out must be confirmed online. An uncertain request can be checked again; past events are never automatically submitted later.
Do I need a photo or my location?
No. Trustshift records work times without GPS or photo capture. Start from a shift and record your work locally, or enable online registration before starting. For additional photo records, you can choose to use Trustamp separately; it is never required.
What does web verification establish?
For online tasks, verification shows events registered by the server and their UTC timestamps. It does not prove identity, location, photos or all work performed. Local corrections are separate and do not change the original server events. V1 links have no expiry and cannot be revoked.
How are hours and estimated pay calculated?
Planned and recorded hours stay separate. Only breaks marked as excluded reduce hours. Choose weekly, two-week, monthly, yearly or custom periods, with a starting date for your pay cycle. Configure hourly pay, overtime and extra rates; estimates are not an employer-approved payslip.
How do I move my data to another phone?
Create a manual backup and restore it on your new phone. V1 has no automatic multi-device sync. Personal sync is planned for V2.
Is there a dark mode?
V1 includes light and dark themes, either following the system or selected manually. Shift names and icons work alongside color to keep the calendar readable.
Can I share a schedule with my family?
Share an image, calendar PDF or ICS file. Files are snapshots, so share again after changes. Live family sharing is outside V1. Work reports can include notes, manually entered places and links for online records.
When can I download it? Is there an iPhone version?
Trustshift is in development and is not available to download yet. Android comes first. Release timing and pricing are not set, and an iOS release is not scheduled.
